Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes activities that are not allowed on our hosting network. The AUP is incorporated by reference in your Agreement with ALR Network.
Capitalised terms used in this AUP and not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning given in the Agreement.

Definitions
- ALR Network: Refers to the hosting provider and its associated services under the Agreement.
- Services: Refers to the hosting and related services provided by ALR Network as defined in the Agreement.
- Customer: Refers to the individual or entity using the Services under the Agreement.
Abuse
You may not use ALR Network’s network or Services to engage in, foster, or promote illegal, abusive, or irresponsible behaviour, including:
- Any activity likely to breach applicable laws, codes, or regulations, including data protection, privacy, and anti-spam laws.
- Use of an internet account or computer without the owner’s authorisation.
- Using the Services in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair their functionality.
- Engaging in unauthorised access to data, systems, or networks, including probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities without permission.
- Monitoring data or traffic on any network or system without express authorisation from the owner.
- Introducing viruses, malware, or any other harmful code into the Services.
- Reverse engineering or decompiling the Services, except as permitted by law.
- Conducting phishing, internet scams, or other deceitful activities.
- Sending unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, or chain letters.
- Interfering with service to any user of the ALR Network, including mail bombing, flooding, or overloading a system.
- Using the Services in ways that could result in retaliation against ALR Network or its employees.
- Using the Services for cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive activities.
Offensive Content
You may not publish, transmit, or store content or links that ALR Network reasonably believes:
- Constitutes, promotes, or depicts child exploitation, non-consensual acts, or other illegal activities.
- Incites violence, harasses, or contains hate speech.
- Is defamatory, fraudulent, or violates privacy laws.
- Compromises national security or public safety.
Infected or Malicious Websites
Websites that are detected to contain malicious scripts or files, whether introduced intentionally or inadvertently, will be suspended until an investigation is completed. ALR Network will notify the Customer, and the website or its content must be deemed safe before being reinstated. Repeated incidents may result in termination of Services.
Live Events
Streaming live sex acts is prohibited, even if the content otherwise complies with the AUP.
High-Risk Use
You may not use the Services in situations where failure could lead to death, serious injury, or environmental damage. Examples include aviation systems, mass transportation, or nuclear facilities.
Email and Bulk Messaging
Bulk or commercial email must comply with applicable laws and meet the following requirements:
- Post a clear privacy policy for each domain used in the emails.
- Ensure recipients have consented to receive emails and can revoke consent.
- Use accurate header information and avoid deceptive practices.
- Include a valid complaint address and respond promptly to complaints.
- Ensure distribution lists are compliant with the same standards.
Vulnerability Testing
You may not probe, scan, or test ALR Network systems for vulnerabilities without prior written consent. Unauthorised testing is strictly prohibited.
Intellectual Property
You may not use the Services to infringe upon third-party intellectual property rights. This includes:
- Downloading, distributing, or using copyrighted works without permission.
- Publishing content that bypasses technical copyright protections.
- Using trademarks or trade secrets without authorisation.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts of repeat infringers and recover costs associated with resolving intellectual property disputes.
Cooperation with Investigations
We will cooperate with legal authorities and regulatory agencies when required. This includes disclosing account or traffic information if legally obligated to do so.
Resource Usage
You may not use shared system resources in a way that disrupts normal operations. Examples include:
- Running resource-intensive applications on shared systems.
- Storing or distributing data that could harm the system or other users.
We may quarantine or delete corrupted or infected data to maintain system integrity.
Third-Party Conduct
Customers are responsible for ensuring authorised use of their accounts. Use reasonable security precautions, including antivirus software and firewalls. Violations by third parties using a Customer’s account may result in suspension or termination of Services.
Governing Law
This AUP is governed by the laws of Romania and the European Union (EU). ALR Network complies with all applicable GDPR requirements and regulations.
Changes to the AUP
We may update this AUP by publishing a revised version at https://alr-network.co.uk/terms/aup. Material changes will include 30 days’ notice, allowing Customers to terminate the agreement if necessary.
Consequences of Violation
Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of Services. ALR Network reserves the right to block traffic or content that breaches this AUP. No credits will be issued for service interruptions caused by AUP violations.
